Delete your Case Arena online account

This page explains how to delete the online account used by the optional online mode of Case Arena, together with the data linked to it. You can do it yourself in the App, or ask us to do it without opening the App.

Option 1 — in the App (immediate)

1. Open Case Arena and go to the Online tab.
2. Scroll to Danger zone at the bottom and tap Delete online account.
3. Tap the button again within three seconds to confirm (Tap again to delete).

The App first leaves your table and collects any virtual balance still waiting on the server. If it reports that a seat is still open, wait for the round to finish and try again. The account is then deleted at once and you are signed out of online mode.

Option 2 — without the App (by request)

1. Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject "Delete online account".
2. Include your friend code (eight characters in the form XXXX-XXXX, shown under your nickname on the Online tab). If you no longer know it, write to us anyway and we will work out with you how to identify the account.
3. We may ask a question to confirm that the account is yours, so that nobody else can have your account deleted.
4. We delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request and confirm by e-mail.

Request deletion by e-mail

Your e-mail address and message are used only to handle the request. If virtual balance is still waiting on the server (you closed the App while seated at a table, or a receipt was never collected), it can only be returned to your device by opening the App; a deletion carried out without opening the App gives that balance up. Virtual balance and items have no real-world value.

What is deleted

All of the following is removed from our server when the account is deleted:

• your Play Games player ID, nickname and its number, avatar colour and friend code;
• your friends, friend requests (sent and received) and blocks (in both directions);
• your table invites;
• your mailbox, including gifts you have not claimed;
• your sign-in sessions — you are signed out of online mode on every device.

What is kept, and for how long

• Table records — seats (game, stake level, virtual amounts), receipts and Case Battle rounds — are kept for accounting, dispute handling and fraud prevention. They carry only an internal account number; once the account is deleted that number can no longer be linked to you. No fixed deletion period currently applies to these de-identified records.
• Accounts closed for cheating or abuse. If we closed the account for cheating or abuse, the Play Games player ID and the closure marker are kept — and the table records stay linked to them — so that the closure cannot be evaded by deleting and re-creating the account. The nickname, colour and friend code are still removed.
• Technical logs and backups. Server log lines (IP address, time, requested address; internal account number and table amounts) and any database backup made before the deletion are not edited. They are kept only for security and troubleshooting and no longer than needed for those purposes.

What is not affected

• The balance, inventory and settings on your device, including items you won at online tables. To clear them use Settings → Danger zone → Reset everything or uninstall the App.
• Achievements and cloud saves held by Google Play Games, and data held by Google's advertising and analytics services — see the Privacy Policy for how to delete those.

If you sign in to online mode again with the same Play Games account, a new and empty online account is created with a new friend code; your former friends are not restored.
